Rebuilding the entire community

Caritas has not limited its activities to homes.
We have also worked at the restoration of
roads, parks, trails and beaches. On the Urato
Islands, Caritas has assisted in restoring oyster
beds and repairing fi shing equipment. Planting
fl ower beds along streets and preparing places
where residents can relax have been part
of our activity as well, since it is not enough
to concentrate on only a few elements of
reconstruction. Reconstruction is a process
that entails giving due importance to moving
forward together.
